For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we organise the ‘Trade and Investment Promotion’ course for employees of Dutch embassies and consulates. The purpose of this course is to achieve the highest possible level of service for Dutch companies with activities abroad. This course consists of a three-day course as a group and a five-day business survey at a Dutch exporting company. The matching for the business surveys is tailored to suit and we organise this too.
On instructions from the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries, we are also responsible for organising masterclasses in ‘Export Promotion for Commercial Attachés and Economic Diplomats’. The purpose of this five-day course is to familiarise the participants with the various aspects of economic diplomacy through presentations, practical workshops, visits to trade fairs and case studies.
For the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries, we provide training courses for SMEs that would like to export to the EU or to expand regionally. The participants are from different sectors and come from various parts of the world. We give training courses in the Netherlands as well as abroad. The purpose of the training courses to prepare the participants for exporting to EU countries, including professionalisation of the export approach (export management) and compliance with the quality requirements of the European market.
